Volunteer

You can play a part! You do not have to be a healthcare professional to organize lifesaving care.

Your volunteer participation can help organize:

· General medical sessions providing primary care through our preventive medical benefit with a volunteer advocate for each benefit recipient to arrange for needed follow-up steps.

· Non-emergency dental treatment to relieve, treat and prevent disease, and restore mouths to a healthy condition.

· Victories through advocacy, as you learn how to fight denial of care by government or private services, and for the under-insured and uninsured and their families.

· Outreach to students, information tables at markets and health fairs, speaking engagements to clubs, classrooms and religious institutions; telephone contact sessions to inform members and volunteers of upcoming activities.

We always need more full-time and part-time volunteers to learn to organize with CCMP. We also need drivers, phoners, and office workers. If volunteering is not possible for you, please consider the many ways that you could aid CCMP. Host a speaking engagement at your place of worship, community or business association, school or club. Collect needed supplies to make our free-of-charge medical and dental benefits possible.

Call us today and schedule a time to come in and learn more about how your participation can make a difference to advance the fight for comprehensive health care. Bring someone you know; give them the opportunity to be part of this important, historic effort.
