Our Benefits

Since 1973, CCMP has addressed the health needs of farm workers, service workers, temporary workers and other low-paid workers. CCMP members have participated in building a comprehensive approach to alleviating the causes of ill health for working people.

For the majority of poor and working people, the enemy of good health is not the lack of access to medical care per se, but the overwhelming odds against which they must battle to maintain housing, safe living and working conditions, nutrition and protection from the elements — let alone timely preventive screening to ward off disease before it takes hold.

CCMP serves as a vehicle for people of principle to take a stand for the elimination of any and all political and economic barriers to good health, including campaigns to defeat laws and governmental policies detrimental to the interests of the low-paid workers and their families.

CCMP then organizes medical professionals to make an educational presentation to fill the benefit request.
